Slow Food Hawaii is having the long awaited Culinary Garage Sale at the Waimea Homestead Market on August 16 from 7AM until noon. The sale is a great place to find bargain prices on some kitchen treasures, all while supporting Slow Food Hawaii.
This is a big fundraiser for us and we need donations of gently used kitchen or dining items-anything to do with food or eating! Please help by bringing donations to Island Thyme Gourmet’s booth at the Parker market tomorrow, July 26 or August 9th or call Clare at 936-6511 for pick up.
We also need volunteers to help at the sale-please call Clare if you can help.
Slow Food Hawaii is a nonprofit supporting good, clean, fair food for all. Funds from this sale will be used for our School Garden Teachers Scholarship and to send our Terra Madre delegates to Italy to represent Big Island.
